ABOUT THIS PERSIAN ART WORK FROM IRANIAN ARTIST - REZA KARIMI

This artwork depicts repeated groups of Persian women individually invisible outside a holy shrine in Iran. This Iranian artwork is oil on canvas and although their faces are invisible, you can feel their individual character, age and personality.
This painting depicts how all of the Persian women dress with the traditional black chador and how, on the surface, their individuality disappears. In order to reinforce this idea, these patterns of groups of Iranian women are repeated in this painting.
